Remove a song from your library

Choose Remove from library in the song’s menu (Delete in the library on a phone). The song leaves your library and setlists and your takes on it are deleted. The audio file you uploaded is kept with your account.

Steps

  1. In your library, open the song’s menu, or in the Studio open More song actions (⋯).
  2. Choose Remove from library (in the library on a phone: Delete) and confirm.

What happens

  • The song disappears from your library and from every setlist it was in.
  • Your recorded takes on it are deleted, with their audio. This can’t be undone.
  • Links you shared for it stop working.

What stays

  • The audio file you uploaded, and Jam’s analysis of it, are not erased. Jam keeps them with your account so the same file is recognised, without processing it again, if you add it later.
  • To have them erased, email contact@withjam.ai from your account’s address and say which song, or ask for your whole account to be deleted (delete your account).

Your allowance

Removing a song doesn’t give it back to your allowance, and adding the same file again later doesn’t count a second time. A song that failed, or was still processing, is the exception: removing it frees it up (Free and Jam Plus).
