On Jam Plus, the month starts on the day your Plus began, and Plan & billing shows when your song count resets.
What counts
- A new song is a recording your account hasn’t added before. Opening a song again, adding the same file twice, saving a session someone shared with you, and the demo songs don’t count.
- A song that fails to process doesn’t use up your allowance once you remove it, and trying it again is free.
- A mix export counts once. Downloading the same mix again doesn’t count as a new export.
- Fair use. Jam Plus has no set limit on takes and exports, but fair-use limits, far above normal practice, still apply. Jam tells you if you reach one.
See what you have left
Open Account (opens Jam in a new tab) and choose Plan & billing. It shows your plan and how many new songs you have left, and on Free, how many mix exports.
When you reach a limit
Jam tells you when you try to add a song, record a take or download a mix, before anything is used up. To get Jam Plus, choose Upgrade to Jam Plus in Plan & billing, or when Jam tells you that you’ve reached a limit.
If your Plus ends
Your account goes back to Free. Everything you’ve already made stays: your songs, takes and exports keep working. Only new songs, takes and exports beyond the Free allowances need Plus again.
